A real IH 300 Utility was sold to Elvis by Memphis District rep for Light Industrial Equipment, Mr. James H. Taylor in 1957.
Mr. Taylor worked for International Harvester out of Memphis, Tennessee and is a member of the AL Chapter of the IH Collectors Club. This story was from an article written by Mr. Taylor about his career at IH that appeared in Red Power Magazine, May-June 1994 where it was reported that Elvis took to mowing his lawn with this tractor in the middle of the night to avoid being seen by the public and causing a traffic jam in front of the Graceland mansion!
