- Toy Tractor Times.com is pleased to announce a new series of Big Bud 4wds.
- Big Bud Tractors Inc. was born out of the Wagner tractor dealership in Havre, Montana in 1969. The company''''s goal was to build heavy-duty high horsepower tractors. The tractors used industrial engines fitted to custom built frames. The company developed a number of innovations for heavy duty tractors, including tilting cabs and a skid system for engine removal.
- Production slowed in the late 1980s and the last Big Bud rolled off the line in 1991. Over 500 Big Bud 4wds were produced during the lines 20 plus year production run. Today 99% of the Big Bud tractors manufactured are still earning there keep in the field and on earth moving projects around the world. The Big Bud brand continues under the ownership of Randy and Robert Williams.
- Toy Tractor Times.com is proud to introduce a new line of Big Bud tractors with Williams Bros. Big Bud. The new series will be manufactured by Universal Hobbies. UH is best known for their extremely detailed 1/32 farm toys and construction equipment. Now UH is going big time in 1/16 with the Big Bud line.
- The first Big Bud in the Toy Tractor Times series is a 1976 HN-320. The 320 hp HN-320 Big Bud is powered by a Cummins 855 engine. Big Bud Offered the HN-320 from 1972-1978. In 1976 the HN-320 was offered with a special red, white and blue paint scheme complete with an American Eagle on the hood.
