1/50 CAT 966A Wheel Loader

966A was built from 1960 through 1963, the key features including a turbocharged diesel engine, power shift transmission, “one finger” shifting controls and 2-3/4 cubic yard bucket capacity. Caterpillar’s design put the lift arms and hydraulic cylinders ahead of the operator’s compartment. This allowed the operator to mount and dismount the cabin more easily, kept moving parts away from the operator, and provided enhanced forward reach.

Made by Diecast Masters, this 1/50 scale Caterpillar 966a Wheel Loader comes in a historical window box with a display base and a bonus retro metal collector card. The wheel loader comes equipped with an operator figure, removable umbrella, and a bucket that can raise and lower. The wheel loader features an authentic vintage Cat machine yellow paint scheme. Per the manufacturer, the Cat 966a wheel loader is recommended for ages 14+ years and up and  is not recommended for play.
