In 1997, the Williams Brothers of Big Sandy, Montana purchased the Big Bud 16V-747 tractor. In 2011, the Williams brothers increased the horsepower of the World's Biggest Tractor from 900 hp to 1100 hp.

The tires on the Big Bud 16V-747 that were original to the machine were construction-made tires in Canada and were eight feet tall, but it was time to replace them.

Titan International, Inc. (Manufacturer of Titan wheels and Titan & Goodyear Farm Tires) in Des Moines, Iowa, contracted the Williams Brothers and offered to partner with them on new Goodyear Farm Tires assemblies with Titan Low Sidewall (LSW) Technology. The Goodyear LSW1400/30R46 is the world's largest ag tire. LSW technology features a larger rim diameter and smaller sidewall than a conventional tire while maintaining the same outside diameter and weight load capacity. The larger rim and smaller sidewall of the LSW provide much greater stability for equipment, improved traction providing more power to the ground, and reduced soil compaction with the ability to carry loads at up to 40% lower inflation pressures. The Big Bud 16V-747 will now be close to 30 feet wide.

The Williams Brothers and Titan International, Inc. are proud to represent American ag industry business. Big Bud tractors were manufactured in the United States from 1969 to 1991, and although no longer produced, they are rebuilt and repaired in Havre, Montana. Titan International, Inc. currently manufactures Titan wheels in Illinois and produces ag tires in their Ohio, Illinois and Iowa production facilities.
