The new streamlined Argent Silver Field Boss line of tractors replaced White Farm Equipment's Oliver Meadow Green, Minneapolis-Moline Energy Yellow and Cockshutt Sumac Red tractor lines. One of the first new Field Boss tractors was the new model 2-105. The 2-105 was offered from 1974-1982 and is powered by a 105HP 354 cubic inch Perkins engine.
